Piolo Pascual and Runner's World Philippines

The only reason I've been buying Men's Health since last year was because it comes with Runner's World Philippines. Now, I don't have to.  That's because Runner's World Philippines decided to launch its first stand alone issue

And if you've been hiding under the rock, Runner’s World is the world’s leading running magazine and has 16 international editions worldwide, with the Philippine edition, published by Summit Media, being the very first in Asia

Besides having the opportunity to ogle Piolo's nice abs, you'd be able to read his running adventures in this April-June 2011 issue.  Grab a copy for only P150

Eight running tips from Piolo Pascual
1  GET ENOUGH SLEEP
“As long as I can get my six hours, I’m good to go.”
2  TRAIN IN THE MORNING
“After that, you can get on with your schedule for the whole day.”
3  AVOID LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHTS BEFORE A RACE
“I try as much as possible not to lift heavy weights, so as to feel light.”
4  EAT RIGHT
“I stay away from beef, pork, and rice, but all the rest I eat. I try to bank on healthy carbs and a lot of chicken and eggs.”
5  HAVE A RUNNING BUDDY
“It’s nice because when you’re running, you get to chat and talk to the person beside you.”
6  GET A MASSAGE AFTER A HARD RUN
“I remember there was a free massage during the Ironman. After running for two hours, it felt like heaven.”
7  SET A GOAL
“You always have to have a motivation and a goal. Always be inspired!”
8  NEVER PROCRASTINATE
“If you want something, just go for it.”
