Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011

You may check your race result here
_____________________________________________________________
I had a great learning experience last year when I joined the 2010 edition of Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore.  This year, I am looking forward to be able to participate once again.  Though I still yet to decide which distance I will be signing for.  'Til now I am still pondering which distance to run.  My original plan was to have my marathon debut in this event.  For now, this decision will depend on my half-marathon race times in the next two months

Last year, the adult categories were fully subscribed to within three weeks of the start of registration (May 20).  So if you intend to run here, better sign up early.  Since we still have a few weeks to go, better start saving up.  Here's last year's registration fees --

Organised by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and the Singapore Athletic Association(SAA), Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore has been held annually since 2002 and is a key highlight in Singapore's calendar of established international running events.
This year, some 60,000 runners will make this the largest local marathon here in Singapore. One of the Republic's marquee sports events, the Singapore Marathon has achieved record participation numbers every year since its inception: from 6,000 in 2002 to 24,000 in 2005 and 50,000 last year
