i prefer ultra over evo2 though i'd have the personally see the material used for ultra. worried that it might get squishy if feet begins to perspire :)

barefoot running 101: barefoot ultra (gorgeous!)or VFF??? i'd appreciate some advice. i wanna get started, but i've been procrastinating for the longest time.
thank you!

ann, this is a difficult question. barefoot ultra or vff? either is fine as both invites you to cultivate a more natural running gait and promotes midfoot strike.

there's a vff fun run this saturday. it is scheduled at 7pm (ROX). do come if your schedule permits. it doesn't matter whether you are a barefoot/minimalist runner, everyone is invited to join

congrats on your run during mizuno highlands. thanks for dropping by :)

Thanks a lot, Daves! I follow your blog because you write about barefoot running in a way that is easy to understand(not so technical), especially with all the graphics/photos, so it's more of a guide for me. Napapaisip talaga ko and the only thing which seems to stop me now is my history of bursitis. The idea to go barefoot keeps 'haunting' me, and I might just give in one of these days. Hehehe. See you on the road!

glad you like the articles here. i hope you were able to attend the fun run led by vff last saturday. with regards to bursitis, i've read barefoot runners who was able to overcome it. you may want to try it out on an oval track first and evaluate if barefoot running is for you :)

Thanks for this review-comparison-thing :) Helped me a lot with my decision, which VIVOBAREFOOTs I'll buy... And that's a hard one, there are just too many posiblities and you hear form everywhere 'this is the best shoe' 'no, this one is even better'... well, I'll see :)

It's a good table, but have you tried all three, and can you offer any personal experience?
