Adidas Barefoot Shoes - adipure Trainer

Several weeks ago, I saw a couple of snaps (by Doc Marvs) of the upcoming 2012 line from adidas and among them is a shoe with 5 individual toe pockets.  Toe pockets?!? A lawsuit underway?  Putting that aside, adidas has finally jumped in the barefoot/minimalist craze. I hope that their entry ain't late to the party
The world's second-largest athletic company unveiled its first "barefoot" training shoe Tuesday, which is designed to mimic the experience of exercising barefoot while providing the protection, traction and durability of a shoe. The Adipure Trainer, which is a cross between a glove for the feet and a traditional shoe, hits U.S. stores in November priced at $90.  You may read the rest of the article here
If you are wondering how much it will retail locally, simply squint really hard on one of the pictures below you'll see that a pair will be sold at PHP5,295.  How I wish they can keep the price at bay and make it competitive, price-wise, against Vibram FiveFingers

I am keeping my fingers crossed that a shoe will weigh less than 4oz and will sport a very thin sole for better ground feel.  Then I might not have any difficulty separating with my hard-earned cash.  If adidas could send a pair my way, it would be most appreciated

Based from gizmodo.com, we expect to see 3 more colorways
