Barefoot Running Philippines: 1st Barefoot Fun Run

Join us for the 1st BRP Barefoot Fun Run! Entrance is FREE!

Please SIGN UP here

WHEN: Saturday, 30 April, 5:30 to 7:30 AM
WHERE: ULTRA/PhilSports Track & Field Oval Main entrance: Meralco Avenue, Pasig City (across Alexandra Condominiums) Pedestrians may pass the gate fronting Valle Verde Country Club

Ready for a full barefoot experience? BRP will be at the ULTRA oval this weekend so ditch the shoes and come running with us! Special guest for our first ULTRA session is Lit Onrubia of ChiRunning who'll talk a bit about form and technique. Mike Logico will give a barefoot refresher before we start. After the fun run, Terra Plana Philippines has generously agreed to raffle off one (1) VIVOBAREFOOT NEO pair to conclude the event

Two distances:
3.2K (8 rounds) for beginners
5.2K (13 rounds) for more experienced barefoot runners

If you're still iffy about running unshod, don't worry, shoes are very welcome. Bring a pair - just in case. We do encourage everyone to try a couple of laps bare though - which is just 2x400m

1. Entrance to the Oval is FREE. Just look for the BRP group for your ticket.
2. Drinking water will be provided but please bring your own water for WASHING your feet.
3. Shoes are welcome though we encourage you to try going barefoot for at least a couple of rounds.
4. This is a fun run, so the 3K & 5K distances are informal. No numbers, no chips, no rankings. Just listen to your feet. You may choose to run shorter or longer distances at your discretion.

Entrance fee, water and VIVOBAREFOOT Neo raffle item sponsored by Terra Plana Philippines
